Tree of Life Meditation

Begin by sitting or standing erectly, breathing deeply and rhythmically.

As you breathe feel the energy rising up your spine and back down as you
inhale and exhale.

Imagine that your spine is the trunk of a tree…with roots extending from
it's base deep into the earth in all directions. Breathe deeply and feel the connection with the earth. Really feel your rooted-ness, your connection.

Draw healing nurturing energy up from the earth through your roots and
trunk with each breath, like sap rising. Do this a few times feeling the
power and energy rising up within you with each breath.

Now, imagine that you have a large beautiful crown of branches that sweep up far above your head and back down nearly touching the ground. Feel the energy (sap) draw through your roots and burst up your trunk and out through your crown, falling like rain to the earth- making a circuit of energy.

Go through the visualization for several minutes, feeling as you breathe
nurturing energy and power rising into your trunk and falling back to
earth leaving you feeling renewed and replenished.
